1968 Beetle for Sale

Car located in Piitsford NY.  Registration expired 2017.  Failed NYS inspection due to undercarriage issues

Good news:

Under 50 thousand original miles.  Garaged since 2008.  Body great.  Repainted 2018.  Interior good, small rip on driver’s seat.  In the family since 1973.  New stainless brake lines 2005.  Tires good.  

Work needed.  

Undercarriage.  Pobably rails and pans, but not 100% sure.  

Ignition switch is frozen.

Used to start the car several times per summer and drive around the neighborhood until the ignition switch froze, last year 

Held the car for our youngest son for years, his wishes, but he moved to the west coast and was unable to take on the project.
