Rather then a weekend event for May, lets try
something new and different. Let’s try to organize
a club gathering at The Log Cabin Cruise Night. It
is a free event, and all cars are welcome regardless
of age, condition or stage of restoration. Just a
casual night out with fellow VW enthusiast, sharing
our beloved Volkswagens with the public.
This event typically hosts hundreds of cars and motorcycles, new and old, gathering for a free weekly event. Food, drinks
and music available for your delight!
The management has agreed to reserve spaces for our club members, but would appreciate a count, so please let Joyce know via
email or a call to 585-671-5914 if you are planning to come by May
18th. We realize this event is dependent on the weather, so it is perfectly fine to show up at the last minute.

| When: | Sunday June 10th 2012 |
| 12:00 - 7:00 |
Where: | Camp Lima |
| Lima, NY |
| South on Factory Hollow Road off Routes 5&20 Between Lima and

This is the 79th annual Camp Lima Blossom Festival. This is also known as the Traditional German Festival. The event features music for your listening and
dancing pleasure by the The Genesee Valley Band and special dance performances by Schuhplattler Verein Heidengold.
Last year was our first invitation to this event. We were very well received, as most members
of the sponsoring club were born in Germany and have a found memories of growing up surrounded
by Volkswagens. Let's have an even larger turnout this year...it's a free event for us, as
we are provided with free admission passes to the festival and have preferred parking right by
the entrance gate. It was a fun time...consider joining in this year! We will be meeting at Don
Brown's Firehouse in Lima and caravanning together to the festival a short distance away.
The recommended entry donation is $5.00 / person, children under 16 are free.
For more information, contact: Erich Roeszies (585) 303-2972 or Earl Skwirba (585) 857-7631 or email
the festival at blossom.fest@yahoo.com
